Support Us

Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra is wholly independent, self-funded and a registered charity (no. 1199210). We receive no national or local authority funding and rely on donations to help us thrive. These are used to provide financial assistance to ensure that any player who is musically eligible to join us is able to do so, irrespective of their family’s financial situation. We are reliant on our own fundraising efforts and the generosity of our Friends and supporters to enable us to hire concert venues, and to run regular intensive coaching sessions and workshops. We also raise funds to expand and maintain our collection of percussion and rare orchestral doubling instruments. Future plans include purchasing and funding lessons on less popular instruments such as viola.
